Masculine / Masculine. The Nude Man in Art from 1800 to the Present Day
If you happen to find yourself in Paris, the Galliano team invites you to discover the "Masculine / Masculine. The Nude Man in Art from 1800 to the Present Day" exhibition, currently showing at the Musée d'Orsay.
The exhibition is the first of its type, and takes a new and significant approach to the representation of the male nude in art, from 1800 to our present day.
The Musee d'Orsay, drawing on an extensive collection of artworks, aims to capture the essence of the male body and form in art with a fresh, sociological and philosophical vision to exploring of all its aspects and meanings.
The exhibition runs until 2 january 2014.

Fashion through Impressionist painting.
If you happen to be going to Chicago, the Galliano team invites you to go and visit the Art Institute of Chicago, to discover « Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity ».
Through a collection of 75 masterworks, this exhibition uncovers the fascinating relationship between Impressionism and fashion in the 19th century. This event presents a new perspective on these early avant-garde artists, and reveals the importance of fashion trends in their goal to paint modern life.
This exhibition runs until 29 September 2013.
Little Black Dress.
If you happen to find yourself in Paris this summer, the Galliano team recommends that you go and visit the "Little Black Dress" exhibition, on display at the Mona Bismarck American Center for art & culture. More than fifty designer pieces are presented as different interpretations of this timeless garment of a woman's wardrobe. An event to discover until September 22nd at the Centre Américain Mona Bismarck, 34 avenue de New-York, in Paris' 16th arrondissement.
